*"RIMFAXE" ALBUM RELEASED!*

The theme of this CD is the magic horse that frequently appears in Nordic mythology; Rimfaxe (Rimemane) is the horse of the goddess of night and dawn (Nótt). He rides the night sky and brings rest and tranquillity to the gods every night. His mane is the moonlight, and his foam is the dew that settles in each valley at dawn.

On "Rimfaxe", mixing and sonic design is by none other than legendary "Platinum Viking" Bruce Swedien, based in Florida, USA.

The album, produced and recorded by Martin Kantola, features some surprising sounds and a deep bass boost from the recently introduced sub contrabass recorder, as well as some symphonic arrangements that support the medieval modes and soundscapes to create a truly multi-dimensional musical experience.

The CD will be in worldwide distribution as well as available from our webshop.

As a very special feature, you can even watch a preview video of the title song Rimfaxe on our video page!

WARNING - FALSE GJALLARHORN ALBUM!

This is NOT our new album! A label called Dragonheart (part of the Italian company Audioglobe) has released an album called "Nordheim" that might look like a Gjallarhorn album, but it's not. The group has simply stolen our name. They call their music "Viking Metal". If you've already been mislead into buying this album, please let them know about it...
